Lace is having her Kittens

I am exhausted between the infection in my tooth and the medcines i am on. But i am up with her. My sweet Lace is having her kittens. She decided to snub the nice safe boxes mom offered her in favour of..behind the toilet. *rolls eyes* we made it nice and comfy for her. shes a trooper.

Shes doing good went right to cleaning her first baby!

What colors so far? Hope things go well for you. I'd seriously invest in a very large cage for the future - that way everyone stays in a safe area!

We have one On order, but its not here yet. Go Fiqure..

She allowed me to gently move her into one of the large grate set ups after the first baby. she has had two now, Black and white, and the other thing Appears to be calico, cant tell for 100% she still cleaning real good and being very protective..not that I blame her. shes momma

Lace is a year and 3 months. we have some people on a waiting list for our little persians. but thats never a guarentee we have what they want.

whew i am tired she had four kittens all perfect and precious. Shes being VERY protective so i am not gonna worry about pictures right now. i do not wish to stress her out. Momma is being a GREAT momma

Awwww, congrats on the new arrivals! Since Lace is being such a good mommy, you just try to take care of you, lamb. Infections like the one you have are dangerous and can be quite debilitating. Take it easy and try not to do too much until you are better. We all anxiously await pics and updates, but not at the expense of you feeling poorly.

Thanks Gaye. I am resting Steve is making sure of it. Because the infection is so dangerous.my dentist wants to get the ruptured impacted wisdom tooth out but we have to clear up the infection before they dare. I dislike being stuck in bed for sure. Steve moved laces crate in by the endof the bed forme tho i think i will sleep better now. Lace is being a wonderfull momma.so attentive. she even gave me a bath this evening,lol

Awwww, what a good little girl Lace is being for her Meowmmy! No kidding on that infection, lamb. I had a tooth go bad about a year ago now, I guess it was and I didn't get attention for it until it was really bad -- I ended up horribly sick, first from the actual infection and then again from the high-powered antibiotics they gave me to address it. Bedrest is, for sure, a bummer, but you can always catch up on your reading ... Need me to send you some paperback books and magazines? How about cross-word puzzle books?

Aww how sweet are you!! I have lots of books which i have been reading. ooo but crossword puzzle books would be a treat..I sent steve to the store the otherday to get some, and he couldnt find them. I love crosswords! And..whatacall it fill in the word? I think thats it..lol

Yeah the meds for this are horrible. The antibotics i can handle. but the pain killers are wreeking havoc on me. of course today is the first day i took the full pain killer dose, cause i told my doctor "I Have to be alert for my Lace" he just shook his head but said it was my pain, LOL

Lace is being sweet to Meowmy. Shes always been a sweety tho. Her and Maia are my bed buddies at the moment. But Lace stays on the foot of the bed right now gotta watch them babies!

How sweet, to have the kittens you have been waiting for! Lace is such a little doll, and I'm sure the kittens are just precious!

Four healthy babies...great job, Lace! Congrats Katie. I hope you feel better soon. Beware of the pain pills...I never have good luck with them. Sometimes you have to take them, obviously, but I agree with how you are doing it...as little as necessary.

OMG Katie.....I can't wait to see pictures....I am so proud of Lace and Samson.....they did so well. HOORAY!!!! I can't wait to see pictures.....oh man I am so happy for you!!! Good job Lace!!!
