Movin' on up!
This is getting to be TOO much. From the start, Rowdy has been all over Bruce. She hops right into his lap and won't budge, she rubs all over him and she sits on the back of the couch and licks his head (Bruce is bald). If I sit on his lap, she cusses me out

After about a week, Buddy began snuggling against Bruce and being very lovey. This morning, Buddy plunked himself on the couch BETWEEN us and tried to shoulder ME aside.

Even the normally anti-social Opie has been sitting on the back of the couch, close to Bruce.

Last night, I took Bruce out to the yard and introduced him to the dogs. Darned if THEY weren't all over him! Both of them shouldered me aside and were licking and rubbing against Bruce.

I don't know what it is, about this man but, my whole crew seems to have fallen in love with him and pretty much ignore me, when he is around.

It isn't just MY cats, though. Last week, he let his daughters get a cat and SHE is all over him, too. I've been teasing him about wearing catnip aftershave

Never thought that I'd have to fight my pets, for my boyfriend

Sounds like you have the seal of approval there.
You just have to figure out how to convince them to share.

Check his pockets! He might be hiding some treats in there! (JK) Some people just have that "animal magnetism" about them... who knows, it might be a benefit to you

(I know, that was bad)

When my husband and I first were married, he had a cat Wilbur (RB) that would, uh, prevent us from "intimate moments" by sleeping right smack dab in the middle of us!

When Bruce stays over, I shut the cats out of the bedroom.

Saturday night, Opie pitched fit, outside of the bedroom door. How DARE I shut him out of HIS bedroom

They can have it all to themselves tonight - I'm going to Bruce's place
Of course, when they smell his kitty on me, I'll be back in the doghouse.

No worse then Tiger jumping on my husband's back and how do I say this.... "going for a ride" during an intimate moment... nothing kills the mood like a kitties nails hanging on for dear life

I agree the animals have given their seal of approval!
I completely trust in my pets' judgement.

I once was dating a guy, nice enough, brought him home to watch movies and my cat (RB) BC peed in the guy's shoes, both of them!
I took the cat's word for it and broke things off.

Turns out the guy was mentally unstable, too many years in the military, he was unable to cope with civilian life.
Last I heard from him, he called from Marine Corps boot camp.

Happened to my Mom, too. Her cat became Dad's cat and it spent all it's time with him in the garage workshop, riding on his shoulders when he worked in the garden...

I have passed muster, with Bruce's new kitty. She piled right into my lap and purred up a storm. At one point, during the night, I rolled over onto my side and got kissed on the nose.

She's a pretty little thing, about 3 months old. She is a smoky-gray shorthair, with a white blaze on her chest. No name, as yet - Bruce's daughter hasn't decided on one, yet. I gave them a copy of "Kittens For Dummies" and steered them toward this site.

Don't feel too bad, ALL of my animals....cats, dog, rabbit- think Colin is some kind of "King" lol. Jasmine especially is in love with Colin- she gives him kisses and even "washes his feet" lol....She's converted Colin into a cat person! Hehe, score one for the cat lovers!

Where cats are concerned, Bruce was a "take them or leave them" kind of person. Rowdy is just so cute, affectionate and persistent that he just HAS to like her. Besides, he likes Rowdy's mommy A LOT and wants to stay in her good graces

Hmm, thats interesting. Too bad Trout is scared of all strangers, so she won't be giving any guys her seal of approval..She will most likely let me make mistakes and never tell me if their jerks
