Aww, adorable pictures! Stumpy is a gorgeous cat! I love her bobbed tail . I also love how she puts her paw over her face she sleeps, like she's saying, "Leave me alone. I need my beauty sleep."

Thanks, we think she's gorgeous too! It's funny - she's becoming more rabbit-like as she's getting used to not having a tail. She often bounds with her back legs going together rather than independently, and when she's chasing a laser pointer she gets her body close to the ground and kind of hops after that crazy red dot

More piccies! She was all confused about which holiday it was, and went searching through the linen cupboard and found a Santa hat and dragged it downstairs to play with. As you can see she was having a ball!

PS. The novelty of a new cat will probably wear off a bit enough to stop me taking photos and posting them every 5 minutes

I absolutely LOVE Manx's!! I was owned by Max (a Manx) for many years and they have such great character!!

Stumpy is adorable and I love her nickname!!

She's a Manx through surgery unfortunately! She was hit by a car about 6 weeks ago now, and her tail was damaged and they had to amputate it. She's adapting well

Thanks! I've just got a nice little point and shoot camera. It has a couple of good auto modes on it which help a lot, and it came with a nice little software package to do basic editing of the photos.

Helps that Stumpy is a very photogenic girl as well!
