restlessness before birth?

Icis seems not to be able to get comfy lately. she will get up, move to a new place, stretch out, lay for a few minutes then get up and do it all over again. she also had been getting into my cubbards and small places,lol. i think she is close. what are the signs i should be looking for? I wont be home all the time this week, i have to work in the am, but i will be home in the afternoons. TIA!!!

they usually do what you described a few days to a day before delivery. she is nesting and the poor thing is just uncomfy. she is really close. do you know how far along she is? http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80724 that is a good page about cat labor. it really helped me out alot.

thanks for answering!!! yea, she should be any day now i think. she was last in heat a few days before the first of May. she is mostly sleeping all the time, when she can get comfy,lol. she also has basically stopped eating. she usually LOVES her wet food, but the past few days, she is only licking the gravy, not eating the food.

some cats just do that. Kitty will lick the gravy then eat the solid bits if she is still hungry. lol. keep us updated!
