Hi!

My name is Alyssa and I share my life with my husband of nearly 10 years, Terry, 3 dogs - Aggie a 9.5 year old Border Collie German Shepherd mix, Sully an 8 year old English Springer Spaniel and Jordie a 5.5 year old Labrador Retriever mix, 2 cats - Neitzche an 11 year old DSH and our newest addition, Squirt a 15 year old grey Manx, and a houseful of freshwater aquariums varying in size from 2.5 gallons to 180 gallons.

I am as involved in rescue as my current situation allows and look forward to being more involved as things change. I am a strong advocate for pet responsibility - especially spaying and neutering and very anti BSL. I am a moderator on a wonderful aquatic forum where I moderate the sections for Bettas, Catfish and Freshwater.

I look forward to getting to know you all and learning and sharing.

My home is indeed busy and I couldn't imagine it any other way - animals have always been a huge part of my life and nothing makes me happier then being surrounded by animals and working towards making other animals lives better.
