Hiya, all!
I really like this forum!
At any rate, my name is Mary. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis with my husband, 3 stepsons, 3 cats, 2 dogs and 2 ferrets. Since this is a cat forum, I'll tell you about them first:
The Queen Bee (a.k.a. "Belle") is a 3-year-old tabby who is NOT a friendly girl - except to my husband and myself. Despite what others may think of her, we love her to death!
Nick the Noodle (a.k.a. "Nicholas") is a 2-year-old tuxedo cat we adopted from a shelter. A very big boy indeed. He's a lover with the sweetest, most feminine meow you'd ever hear out of a 15# cat. Nick is Momma's boy who loves to be held on his back like a baby and get head-butted by her.
And then our brand new addition, Moji (a.k.a. "Mojo"), a lilac colorpoint Ragdoll who just turned 14 weeks. Oh, man! What a lover this little guy is! Although I could do without his lovey-ness at 12:30 a.m., 2:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
What a breed! I cannot believe how well he acclimated!
As for the rest of our critters, we've got a Newfoundland dog (Baloo) and a Bloodhound (Sherlock)... both males and both giant lovers. Too, we've got Bubbles & Squeak... male and female sable ferrets.
I look forward to getting up to speed on the forums and joining in when appropriate. Great to be here!!
Mary
