eyes still not open yet ....???

My kitten from Bengal cat sandreen 12 days and eyes still not open yet it is ok …??
My kitten from Scottish fold cat Shakira eyes open in one week also sandreen kitten very small in size around (120 G)

Not a bengal breeder but 12 days and eyes not open (or starting) seems a little odd. I've read that kittens usually open their eyes 7-10 days (many times sooner then 7 days). Maybe its normal with bengals.

The smaller scottish folds - depends on the background - using british or american shorthairs. I'm sure the kittens are fine - they will not be as big as bengals of course.

My foster cat kittens eyes opened when they were 11-15 days old.. some took longer than the others.. but all their eyes eventually opened.

I would give it a couple more days following the instructions in the article. If they haven't opened by two weeks, then I would call the vet to be certain everything was OK.

I would look closely to see if there is pus under the eyelids that may be keeping them sealed.
