when to spay after delivery

Bunkins is still not having any babies but i think any day now bc she has been trying to get under everything. I finaly got nice box for her at lowes
she seems to like it anyhow to the point hahah. Once she has her kittens how long till she can be spayed immedietly or no? bc I want to introduce her to my lexie (my persian).

You need to wait until she has completely weaned her kitten and her milk production has dried up before you have her spayed. I would say it would be when the kittens are 10-12 weeks of age that mom can be spayed.

I was fostering a mother cat and her 5 kittens, and they all got spayed (and neutered) when the kittens were 8 weeks old.

She was still occasionally nursing and definitely still producing milk at that stage, and mum and babies were all perfectly fine.

I would suggest 10-12 weeks because then you can take all the kittens in with her and they can all get done together.
