I love Internet Research
I usu. fly NWA, but I've always wanted to ride on a Frontier Airlines jet with a LYNX pic. on the tail

http://www.bts.gov/press_releases/20...dot069_06.html
According to the latest report, the best on-time airlines are:
1. Hawaiian Airlines
2. Comair (never heard of that one)
3. Frontier Airlines
And having the fewest cancellations are:
1. Hawaiin Airlines
2. Frontier
3. Southwest Airlines
The worst on-time airline was:
1. JetBlue ( no worries - they have TV & flite-trakker 4 each seat. I love knowing what state I'm looking down on & watching Weather Channel while in the air)
The worst because of cancelled flights:
1. American Eagle
2. JetBlue
And airlines reporting pet deaths for this report:
American (1), Continental (1), United Airlines(1);
reporting injuries: Continental (1), Pinnacle (1);
and losing a pet: Northwest Airlines (1).

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a link to details of the animal incident reports, which I feel would be very useful for the public when considering taking their own pets. I feel so badly for the kittens & puppies that get shipped in the hold, just because I think the experience must be so scary.

I know! Doesn't it just make you want to cry imagine what must be going through their little heads for the whole experience??? I always upset myself when I try to imagine what a pet must be thinking during experiences like that...

I have told DH that if we ever move far away, it can't be someplace we have to fly to, because I absolutely refuse to put my kitties in the hold. Or else if we do fly, we have to buy them tickets so they can ride in the cabin with us.

That's BF and my policy.

The poor sweet things.
