Stumpy is drinking from a plastic cup of water I have near me, and rather than getting nice and close and taking delicate little licks of water, her face is a good inch away and she's lapping the water noisily with a LOOONG tongue! Not only that, but because she's so far away and taking huge laps, water is going everywhere!

She also needs to learn that it's not appropriate to attack (I mean full on attack) our feet while we're trying to sleep at 2am.... and 3am.... and 4am... I woke up suddenly quite a few times to find her claws embedded in my feet!

To make it worse, the little cow was curled up snoring in my arm at 9:15am when I finally managed to drag myself out of bed after having a horrible nights sleep. I took great delight in waking her up and turfing her out of the bed

Funny!

When Molly drinks cream she is very cute and dainty about it, but there still ends up loads of cute splatter marks everywhere, like something out of CSI.

Phenoms doesn't really drink much out of the cups. She likes to push them around on the table and makes the water move and try to stop it by sticking her paw in. After she has a wet paw she glares at us like we set her up to get her paws wet!

Ah, life with a Manx cutie!!
Joey says that since Manx don't have to waste time concentrating on communication with a tail, their brains have more time to connive, instead

Joey is, as my grandson puts it, the Cop/Judge - he patrols the other cats for misdeeds & metes out a swift & fierce version of American Justice! When Amy Rose jumped off the kitchen counter this a.m., Joey gave her such a cuffing on the ears & then bit her back to prove his point

Twitch is very dainty about drinking out of a cup. She walks up to it, puts her foot inside of it, & knocks the whole cup over! Then she proceeds to roll in the water. After she is good & wet, then she gets a drink from the puddle.
The rest of the cats don't like to drink from cups.
