Hello from Ohio! Meet Clover!

Hi. I'm Lori and I'm new to the board and to kitties. We adopted our sweetheart in January from the local shelter when he was 7 weeks old. He is the first cat we have ever had. He is now 6 months old and is the love of our lives. I had no idea what I was missing and wish I had gotten a cat sooner. He is so sweet. We lost our yellow lab of 14 1/2 years on May 7 and I think he adopted our dog as his mom. Everyone tells me he is not your average cat. He follows us everywhere, wants to be held like a baby, always exposes his belly, and purrs all the time. He sits by the door when we go outside and is always watching what we do. He has the best personality and loves being around people. MEET CLOVER!

My cat Penelope follows me around everywhere, too. I think cats get a bad rep for being aloof. Some cats are but not all.
