Guess what?

I GOT THE JOB!

I start the 6th and will be working until this October when my classes start. I am SO excited! Today they showed me around the clinic and introduced me to everyone and they all are very nice, young but nice . I can tell it's alot like a family there and there is alot of respect for others. I have to go this weekend and buy some scrubs. I want the cute ones with animals on them. I know it sounds crazy but I have always respected someone wearing scrubs. I know they are the people who care for us and our loved ones (human and furry). Alot of times our lives depend on them. I feel like I have actually accomplished something... I can't imagine what I will feel like when I graduate and get my certification!
They told me they had TONS of people applying for the program and they didn't call back anyone and were'nt going to until they interview me. I don't know if that's true or not but it sure made me feel good!
Thanks for all the great vibes you all! I could feel the positive energy while in the interview and felt MUCH more confident.

I also want to add that they are a no kill office. If an owner comes in and says they want the pet put down for something other then a legitimate reason ( like peeing on the floor or chewing) they will not do it! They will try to influence the owner to sign the animal over to the clinic and we will try to correct the problem and adopt it out! I love THAT!
