Going away for the 1st time without kitty

Ever since I got my cat he and have only been seperated by a few hours, but I have been invited for 3 days. I was wondering if my cat will be ok to be alone for such time.

I would like to hear from others with the same experiances of leaving a cat alone for a few days.

Is there going to be anyone looking in on your kitty? If we are going to be away longer than one night, we always have someone come by daily to scoop the box and replenish food and water. Personally, I think 3 days is too long to leave a cat all alone without having anyone check on him, but if you've got someone who can come by and make sure he's okay, then I don't see anything wrong with it.

I have a roommate to feed and play with my Ginger while I'm away - I would make sure that you have someone who can come and spend at least an hour with your kitty each day while you're away.

I thought that Ginger might get upset with me for going away for a few days (I was just away from home on 6/15-6/18) but when I got home she was so happy to see me that she was almost - almost - cuddly!
