Hello does anyone know why cat would get a hotspot and looks bad and mean???

Glad your going to the vet ... there are many cause s and some are very easy to fix...

Anything can cause a hotspot- a flea bite, a small abrasion, overscratching. There are a number of old wives remedies (Gold Bond, Listerine, witch hazel) but most include removing hair from the area and keeping it dry. Air circulation is paramount.

It turn out it was the New AdvocateÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] for Cats which cause it... wont be using that again.. thanks for all replys
