I'm an Aunt!!

I'm so excited and just wanted to share with everyone that I am officially Aunt Katherine!!!

My brother's wife had a son at 10:50 this morning. He's totally healthy, 8pds13oz, and 21 inches long! I hear that he's completely beautiful and that he's already trying to suck his thumb. Unfortunately I can't make it home to meet him until Sunday, but I'm counting down the days! I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone!!!

The cutie's name is John Norman. Norman was my grandfather's name.

Being an Aunt is great! Josh is a wonderful name! He's bound to be handsome with a name like Josh! All I keep thinking is 9lbs?! Your poor SIL?! Sucking his thumb already? He's so brilliant!!!

I have 17 nieces and nephews (most who were born before I married!!) Oldest one has turned 36 and the youngest (our godson) is 17. And many great-nieces and nephews who are lots of fun too.
