So I feed the boys Spot's Stew for the first time today and the loved it! It's $2.19 a can at my grocery store, so it's a tad out of my budget for now, but I will feed it to them as an occasional meal. I was wondering if I could get an opinion on the ingredients.

The site also shows their treats, the Liv-A-Littles. I usually feed them the beef, but am tempted to try the lamb once it becomes available.

I worry about the garlic and soy ... the $$ to me is too much as there are =ly good foods for far less

Mmm...the Spot's Stew looks really good and human grade. Looks like a stew you can buy right from the grocery store! Ingredients:

Spot'sStew Original Chicken Recipe

Chicken, Zucchini, Squash, Celery, Chicken Liver, Carrots, Green Beans, Water (sufficient for processing), Peas, Turkey, Calcium Lactate, Soy Sauce, Kelp Powder, Garlic Powder, Choline Chloride, Ascorbic Acid, Zinc Gluconate, Taurine.

Yum!

Oh and those Liv-A-Littles look totally awesome! All they are is 100% freeze dried beef! Yummy AND healthy. Looks like you've got yourself a winner here.

I looked at this food at a local pet store when I was trying to decide what to feed my finicky felines, and I had the same concerns as Sharky, I have heard many times that garlic and soy are things to avoid in cat food, and it was expensive too.
