I might have my camera fixed but this is all for today. I am laying across two chairs and Jimmy is across the living from me laying down!!!!! In this picture, he is at the entrance to the hallway going in to the living room. He is going to help me pack..... He heard he has a new house we are working on.

It will be so much easier on Jimmy if he decides to let me pet him like Star BEFORE we move. And right now, he is making very fast progress.

I have also discovered the reason Jimmy and JJ were standing at the door for an hr. There was a stray grey striped tom right on the other side. They were guarding.........hehe

Darn internet was down all weekend...I finally caught up with all this amazing progress!! Jimmy you are gorgeous!!!!!!!!! This is absolutely wonderful news Jenn! I'm so happy!

Jimmy and JJ are on the job! I love the picture of Jimmy and his princess too - so adorable. She's so tiny next to him! He's making incredible progress, Jenn. Thanks for all the pictures and updates. It warms my heart to know that Jimmy is doing so well.

I know, doesn't she look dainty? and with a name like Princess, it is hard not to imagine Jimmy as her knight in armour to protect her. Very sweet pic.

WEll, NOW IT EVENING. Jimmy won't be out of his crate till later on tonight or in the morning after husband is in bed or gone in the morning. He won't come in here if husband is around.

I showed my husband his pictures so he won't forget what Jimmy looks like since he is so elusive with Juan.....hehe

Juan said he saw him the other morning when he dashed over his foot. Then he showed me a TINY scratch on top of his foot. Poor thang...... I had to get a magnifing glass to really see it good......

Here is one of him and Princess. When JJ walked up, Jimmy moved forward to claim Princess. They love each other. He did not want JJ near her while he is around.... See how Jimmy is kinda has his back up telling JJ to back off NOW.... hehe

I am fixing to reformat my camera but I had to post this. Sorry for the blurs.... But see her looking up at him.. "jimmy, my hero and knight in shining armor.."

You know, since April the 19th, except for right at first, Jimmy was an invisible cat. When he roamed at first, he hid in different places in the house.

I am so thrilled he is coming around now. I suspect as he courage increases around me, one day he will just hang out and it won't be long. Maybe a couple more months.

I have just let him be and do whatever he wants to. I have never pushed him at all. When I feed him and empty his litter box I have always talked to him but got no response from him at all. He has never approached me but one step ONCE and that was for the steak. He just started doing this. I keep a fan close to his crate so he can have air.

I still think it was the raw steak!!! hehe He's h oping for more...

The first time I see him using the other litter box, the one in the bedroom goes byebye. And the first time I seehim eating out of the other cat bowl, the one in the closet is also leaving. I want him to join in the family.

Well maybe not the first time. But a month after he starts eating and pooping in the real FOOD AREA AND THE REAL POOPY AREA.

What he is using now is temporary but he doesn't know it..... not yet.

It's good to take it slow, but a month might be excessive, especially if you don't see signs of problems - I'd play it by ear.

Oh, and I'd buy more steak, too

Well, last night Jimmy changed rooms. He moved himself in the living room closet. He is in there sleeping right now. He has decided on his own that is a social animal now with our family...... But where he is at is 15' form my computer. He loves it. I guess.

I am going to clean it out later and put his crate in there. Jimmy does not want to be isolated any longer. When I came home he had moved his spot.

He has never been in there before. A lot of it might be due to Princess being in the living room all the time. He wants to be close to her.

I'll wait on moving his crate because he might change his mind.

And yes, husbands are very big babies.!!! His little scratch looked about the size of what a small splinter would have have been. One you could have gotten with tweezers only.... hehe

I'll be so glad to hold Jimmy one day and take a self portrait of us both....
Won't they be nice? If he comes out of the closet later on [and he probaby will] I am going to make him a nice comfy spot in there and put him some food and water in there for him. This is good that he is comfortable in this particular closet. It is right in the hub of all the activity in the house.

And last night, he slept in OUR closet with us in the same room. And this morning WHILE HUSBAND WAS HERE, he stood in the edge of OUR BEDROOM and peeked around the corner and me and hubby.

He is coming along....

This is so wonderful! Although, Princess deserves some credit for her coy charm working on his cool reserve.

It will happen el. It really will. He is starting to go through the process of trust now...

It is sure an exciting thing to witness as well.

He is still in the open closet right across the room from me. Princess is in there with him right now...

Well, I just looked and both girls are in there with him. hehe

He is definately not lonesome.

AND.........tomorrow Jimmy is going to be an uncle. My daughter n law is having her baby tomorrow morning sometime. They are inducing labor.

Tomorrow is Zachary Bryan's birthday.........!!!

OK, Jimmy is sitting in the living room watching me. He is not in the closet.

He's a big boy now. HE IS OUT OF THE CLOSET... The girls woke him up and they are INSIDE the cat food bag..... He is watching it russle.. This is a 20lb bag. hehehe
