95% I missed the one about the immigration form. I'm a natural born citizen, so that's not one of the things I have learned.

I would have to do more research, but I'm pretty sure the president can never issue a formal declaration of war. He can send troops in, however. Like the first Gulf War was a "call to action", not formally a war.

Alright. I am so not posting my score. Although I really want to, to see if anyone did this horribly.

I obviously need to go back to school and actually learn stuff. I never ever did any good in Government class.

Guess they wont be picking me for president.

You're right-
Only Congress has the power to declare war & once it has done so the President signs a declaration of war

They don't pick presidents in America, silly, they elect them

Anyway, I'd post my score if I was you - I'm sure you've done better than some government officials we know and love!

You answered 85% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:

I missed the three freedoms( forgot religion) ... I thought the president could declare war(didnt he??lol) and I got congress and the house of reps numbers mixed up... not bad for a biology major

I got an 85%. I out thought myself on #8 (which amendment isn't about voting), went too fast on #15 (I was thinking of the Senate, not Congress as a whole), and have no clue what form to fill out in #19. Not too bad.

95% here. I missed the one about the INS form too. Why is that question relevent anyway? If they're taking the test, they must have submitted the correct form to apply for citizenship, do ya think? Why not a question about a form they will have to use in the future, like the 1040?
