URGENT!!!!! Please help David! (Mo)

Everyone meet David

David is sitting in a local shelter here in Missouri. He only has until july 5th until they have him PTS David desperatly need to find a forever or foster home ASAP! He is a wonderful dog, and his great personality just shines through his pictures. Please if you know anyone who can give him a home or foster him until he finds a good home, please help him. As you might know, I have never posted about an animal who needs a home- there is just something about David that steals my heart. I cannot sit and do nothing. Again, PLEASE! save this beautiful baby! I would take him in SOO fast if I only had the room for him. I am trying everything in my power to keep this lovely baby alive. If you know ANYBODY who might be interested, please give them his info.

i live in Jefferson City, MO so i'm going to call my mom and see if we can foster him. i highly highly doubt it but it's worth a try. poor baby. if i was an adult i'd drive up there right now...

i called my mom and she said that we would think about it but the bad thing is that we have cats.i will try but i dont think its ganna work out.

He is so sweet looking. If I werent so far away I would nag Lee until he let me take him home. I hope he finds a home becasue he looks to be such a sweet and fun loving boy!

awww I just LOVE that pit bull smile! I looked at his other picture with his eyes close and his head cocked to the side. What a cutie!

my mom said no.... grr. i hope to God someone adopts him before it is too late... it just breaks my heart...

not to worry theres no way we are going to let him be PTS if he does'nt get out of the shelter before the fifth, the rescue lady is going to get him and board him at a kennel until we can find a solution.
They tested him at the facility with an actual cat-and the animal control guy & the rescue lady were very uncomfortable with his reactions. There are 2 other people on another board I am a member of that are interested in him, but unfortunatley they also have cats. Don't feel bad about your Mom not being able to take him- you tried I tried also-but I have 2 cats and 2 dogs-so I got a big NO! from my household too I'm just sooooo happy the lady said she would get him out and board him she does'nt want to do it until after the holidays because all the boarding kennels will be full. All we can do now is pray, pray, pray that some wonderful person adopts the big sweetheart.

if i didnt live so far i would have taken him. I love dogs and cats I have 2 cats, 1 dog. really sorry.

Don't be sorry David has a lot of people pulling for him-- I just wish he did better with cats he would already have a home. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers though

A quick update before I leave for the day............ I spoke with the rescue lady and she is currently going through apps! hopefully one will be the perfect match for him. Thank you all sooooooooooooooooooooo much for your thoughts and prayers I now believe in the TCS board magic

Poor David. I am just catching up with this post. I sure hope someone adopts/fosters that sweet boy, his smile is just precious. Please give an update as soon as you can.

I don't know
But I am sooooo about to cry! The rescue lady told me that if I had'nt posted about him here (and a few other places) that she would not have been able to save him she was simply out of space I'm just soo happy with myself-that I just did'nt look at his picture and hope he got a home-because I almost did so, apparently someone from here or another chatroom agreed to foster him for now he is at the rescue ladies house waiting to be nuetered then its off to his new place
I think I get to meet him too We are trying to work that out now
