The last time I moved apartments, my "big" kitty, Scotty, developed a UTI. It hasn't resurfaced since it went away so I'm willing to bet that it was stress induced (he was not blocked, but rather had "overactive" bladder symptoms).
I'm moving again August 1 and I have no way to introduce him to the new place prior to moving. I was thinking that Feliway diffuser in the spare bedroom might be a good idea (put both kitties in the spare room with the diffuser and keep the door shut during move-in). However, I'm still worried about a recurrence of the symptoms as well as Oscar (my other kitty) becoming stressed.
Any other ideas? I'm not just worried about the cost of vet bills, but also the stress on my babies.
