Cleo gets her first vet visit in quite a while tonight. She is getting her shots and a dewormer. We will discuss her eating and exercise habits since she is a bit on the heavy side and also 12 years old. Is there anything else I am forgetting to ask the vet as a mater of routine?

At her age she should also be getting a senior blood panel done to see if there is anything going on with her.

I agree....
A senior blood panel on Cleo is very important.
It will help your vet discover any hidden diseases such as diabetes, kidney or liver problems,
& you will have it to compare with her blood if she becomes ill in the future.

Thank you for the help. Poor Cleo was absolutely terrified of the vet this time. Vet said she looks great for 12, and gave me assistance on how to cut her food back to help her lose the extra weight. She also got her rabies shot.
