Cottage Life - Nature at its best!

I spent the last week at the cottage. Just wanted to share some pictures.

Meet Sam, the turtle. He/she was a regular visitor while I was there.

Here is the main cottage. We replaced the deck last year and this was the final result. Great for having your morning coffee and breakfast.


I don't have a picture of the original cottage that my grandparents built back in 1930's. It's located to the right of the main cottage.

Here's a pic of the cabin by the lake. The pic below also includes a 'sketch' that I did which I framed and gave to me sister for her office (some of you have seen this one already). I'll be doing a black and white sketch for each building and making a cottage set.


Here's the dock and boat. Another great place to sit and watch the sun rise or set.

Sam the turtle. Check out how the gold stripe goes right through his eye! I love natural details like that!

My mom's a daisy lover and I'll be framing this one for her (and the butterfly/daisy above) for her birthday in July. I smudged the details in the background of the picture below to make it a little surreal

You're too kind Tracy. Wait until I take some photography courses, then I'll have some talent. Right now I just fool around until something looks right.
