Whats happening in your corner of the world today?
Anybody see Australia being knocked out of the World Cup last night?
We went to see Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift last night, was very good. Mark drifts so he was like an excited child on the way to the cinema.
Going to visit a friend tonight briefly then probably off to the gym, then bed! Still feeling the effects from the weekend.

The weather is so incredibly drab today and I have a huge pile of ironing to work through! (should actually be doing that now! :lol1: )

Not much planned for this evening, just relaxing I expect as I'm not feeling on top form!

Good Morning! I feel good today. Aside from the fact that I am coming down with a cold or something and am stopped up sneezing with the occasional bout of coughing.

Planning my sister's baby shower is going fairly well. We have decided on jars with a baking mix in them for favors for the guests to take home. Some with mix for "hot cross buns in the oven" some with chocolate chip off the old block cookies" (thanks to the TCSer who came up with that idea

) and some sort of "apple doesn't fall too far from the tree something"

Good Morning All

As per usual, I am just enjoying my coffee getting ready to start the work day.

My new landlady finally called yesterday and said that she had been trying to get through, but she didn't leave a message. My phone has been on the fritz for the last 5 days or so. So we are moving on Friday...and I totally still have a whole apartment to dismantle.

Any packing suggestions to make it go quicker would be highly appreciated

Hmmm, I have a hot lunch date today

I just had to get my air conditioner a shot of frion/freeon (sp?) and it cost me $110. Ugh!

Good Morning Gang!

Today is dreary in Philadelphia, but no torrential down pour!!!

I have had enough rain to last the whole summer! Where is the sunshine???
I slept well last night, although I had some crazy dreams, and can't quite remember exactly what they were about.... I watched a few episodes of Will & Grace last night (my favorite!) and vegged out on the sofa. I am still beat from 4 kids over the weekend... at one point in my life I thought I wanted 4! Ha!

Just waking up really. Slept pretty good last night, had this dream that we went down to NC to the old house and found a note on the door and a 'good riddance' balloon just inside the door from my biological rents. Just weird it's still bugging me though.

Kids are fed, okay so the 2.5 year old is still eating, he wanted more. Honey Smacks cereal, doesn't look too good to me but I guess it's not too bad cause he is on seconds.

Hubby is slowly waking up. We moved into the library last night for sleeping, on an actual mattress instead of the couch bed....much more comfortable and private.

Weather is still cruddy.....rainy, wet, cloudy and windy.

Yeah, But it's worth it when the temps an humidity get way up there!

And esp. so because the passenger window won't work!

Hello to all!! It is about 11:10 am here and Im just lounging, as well is my daughter. She is watching something on tv and eating a popsicle! She had a bowl of cereal with her big brother earlier, and now shes onto her popsicles...lol. I however am having some major cramps this morning. (Yes, Aunt Flow decided to come and see me)

Morning(almost afternoon) all! My plans for the day include a test(maybe I should be studying??), Chico is currently likcing the bitter apple spray off my toes(it was supposed to deter him!), Damita is flopping around like a dead fish in my lap. Ophelia is signing me a love song in that gorgeous BRAY she has. Other than that, all's well here!

Tonight I'm off to the HS again. I have to get my fix until Saturday as I will be gone Thursday when they are open again.

Hi all!
Nothing exciting to do today since I have to work in two hours.

I don't want to go. I have so darn much to do before I leave. Laundry, dishes, litterboxes, UGH the list is endless! But at least I have Thrusday off and I might be able to catch the house up, and on the next day off start on the rental.

There's something I'm NOT looking forward to. it stinks, and I get nauseas whenever I'm over there. But it has to be done before I can rent it because it's nasty thanks to deadbeat. Someday I'll have a day off to play again.

Back from work!!! I planted a new perennial bed for a client today. My secret-I did not draw up a design!!! I had plant ideas in my head and went out and bought $500 work of perennials. I think it turned out rather well. I have to take pictures after I mulch the bed. Its so much fun shopping for plant with other peoples money!!!
I am celebrating by having a Pimms Cup (or two!).
Slept very poorly last night-I must remember to wear my wrist brace weeding and I weeded for 6 hours yesterday and work up at 2:30 to: 1. that *** peacock 2.Bobber moewing to come in. I tossed and turned for and hour before I got smart and took some advil and put and ice pack on my wrist. Then Ox wanted to sit in the garage. I fell back asleep around 4 am!! Got back up at 5:30 (well awake-got out of bed at 6:12)
Called another client as I can start picking basil for their breadshop in which they will use it for their focccia. I'll get pd $6 for 4 oz!!
Sunny now rain later (hopefully)!!

over the ***peacock!!! That is hysterical.... I mean, won't someone come and get it??? Can't you call the city/township? It's bird harassment!

That would drive me insane!?!?!?!
