Today, I had to go to the funeral of one of my patients who I'd gotten really close to. I knew I'd been really down afterward, so I brought my camera along and decided to go visit the shelter kitties. I do that every so often since I don't foster anymore. I feel like the kitties enjoy visitors sometimes and they definitely always cheer me up after I've played with them for awhile.

Unfortunately, most of the kitties were under quaranteen today because of an upper respiratory infection that was going around, so I didn't get to go in the cat room and play with them all. I did get to play with the ones out front though and took a few pictures through the window.

This one reminds me of Rosie!

This little guy was just the cutest thing! I would have taken him home with me if I didn't already have so many cats.

This is Lovey and he is one of the kitties who lives at the shelter permanently.

This is Bishop. He also lives at the shelter permanently and pretty much runs the place.

One of the kitties in quaranteen. He really looked like he wanted to come out and play.

I did this one is black & white since I thought he looked like he was in jail...plus he's wearing his striped prison outfit.

When I saw that cat and how it kept meowing, I laughed and thought of Rosie!
She was one of the ones in quaranteen, so I had to take that picture through the window. She was a beauty!

The orange kitty looking out of the window wanted to come out and play so bad. I really wished I had been able to go in. Maybe I'll go back in a few days and will be able to play with them all.

Oh my. That "jail" picture could be on a commercial about sad cats in shelters and why you should go get one right now! It is gorgeous.

And so are all the cats!
