Am I being really mean?

Cleo has spent the last twenty minutes fighting herself in a mirror I propped against the wall, therefore leaving me to surf the net without having to remove her from my keyboard every few seconds.

It's very cute...and I don't think it is mean.

It's only mean if you think that she is going to hurt herself. I have to lock up both my boys when I am cooking, or they both will stick their heads into boiling pots of water.

*sigh* I hear ya! Mine will walk right into a 450-degree oven if I don't confine them when I am using my kitchen! Anyone who ever said cats were terribly intelligent should see one of mine staring, completely entranced at a dripping faucet for 45 minutes!

you are so right Gaye!
Buddha (9 1/2 weeks now BTW) always tries to help me with dishes and jumps in the dishwasher!i think the funniest thing is after you go to the bathroom and you flush your cats are just waiting outside the door so they can get in to see the "swirly water"

You are lucky if you can keep them outside the door! At least two of mine are always ready to jump on the toilet as soon as I have vacated it, to inspect it and to watch the flush!

My cousin's cat actually did get a severe burn on her stove! He recovered just fine, and has not learned to stay off the stove, but it can be dangerous.

I'll bet Cleo looked adorable playing with her twin!

Yeah, mine can be pretty bad as well, though thankfully, they reserve their antics for rare occassions - the scariest thing Bobby ever did was try to put his paw in a pot of rapidly boiling water - I got to him in time and put him out so it turned out ok - but what was this maddening tempation whose siren song was beyond his ken and will?

Pumpkin.
