There is this guy that i go out to dinner with, and i knew he wanted to come around to check out my place today since he knew my parents went away.. mind you we havent kissed or anything.

So out of nowhere i tell him

"i cant have people come around tonight, i want to relax and the litter box really smells!"

The look on his face was so shocked

Unfortunately that isn't always the case... sometimes you get a stalker from that situation... believe me I've been there! Even though I'm married (and not to him) he STILL bothers me!

You have to start out subtle, like saying "It's so weird how all my friends are guys" and things like that, so that he knows you have no romantic intentions. If he keeps acting like he wants to kiss you or whatever, tell him a little white lie like you don't want a relationship or he reminds you of your brother/uncle/father/ cousin whatever. If that doesn't work, cut off all contact with him for a while, or just talk/see him in social settings with other people or online or something.

No offense, but if he didn't know you weren't dating him, you may have been leading him on and he thought you were dating. If that's the case, it should clear it up just to make sure he knows you didn't think you were dating.

If you want to be sneaky about it (well, we are girls aren't we?) have a friend ask you in front of him if you're dating anyone and say "No, not right now!"

Oh no, ive made it clear i dont want a relationship. because of the fact im leaving soon.
And he took it okay, from what i understood anyway.
Think he got the point anyway, too bad though he is really a nice guy, dont understand why im not attracted to him

I use to keep a picture of a baby in my wallet. When the timing was right, I would pull it out and say "This is a picture of my son"

That got rid of them FAST!

Hey, there's lots of ways to turn off a guy. Let me see ...pick your nose, scratch your butt, burp, fart,.. should I go on?

Oh I almost forgot about this one, talk about your ex ALL the time. Say you still have feelings for him. Perhaps make up a story of how you and your ex had a date in the same spot that you and the current guy are in. Talk about it the WHOLE time.
