New Kitten Names - Page 2

Another vote for Ducati.
I like them all, but I like Ducati best. Plus, I've heard cats respond better to names that end in the E sound. (No idea if its true though! )

I think we're leaning towards Ryder and Ducati so far, I'll post an updated pic when I can, so we can see what he really looks like!

( and I swear that its a boy, I'm going to feel SO dumb if its a girl! )

Don't feel silly if it's a girl - they can be very hard to sex. A friend of mine had a kitten named Katia til 'her' first vet visit - he's now a Damien.

Ducati and Ryder could work for either. All the Choppers I know are boys (humans - though it's a nickname) so maybe I'm biased.

Ok, I talked to hubby last night while we were watching Orange County Choppers.... he suggested naming the new baby Katana.... I think that's how you spell it. I like Katana too...

You can still name it a boyish name if its a girl...you don't have to name a girl a sissy fifi name...Just look at Trout, she is a little girl, and everyone still says "he" when they talk about her.

I haven't tthough of any new names to add except maybe Kawasaki or Yamaha. But those aren't as cutie as Chopper and Ducati!
What about calling him David, that would be short for davidson. You could change it to davida if its a girl.

Sturgis

A vote for Ryder here.

How about Davidson?
How about HAYABUSA (Susuki) - you can call him Haya for short ...
I'm voting for Chopper!

Although the Crotch rocket is a good one...

What about Beemer? I've always heard that as a nickname for BMWs...

Maybe "Deuce"?? It's a 2006 model soft-tail Harley.
Plus it would fit because he's your second cat!
I like Chopper!

My vote goes for "Ryder." He sounds really cute! Let us know what you decide!

Trout says: CHOPPER!!
Ryder definately gets mine, Sleeves and Nismos vote.
And even if he did turn out to be a she (wouldn't be the first time lol) I think Ryder is still cute for a little girl!

well, i like Ducati the best - if he's a boy, you caan call him Duke for short. but i also like Davidson - Davy for short. i like names i can make nicknames out of, tho. if Harley was mine, he'd be called Harley, Harleypants, Harl, & who knows what else! Chip, for example, gets called these things: Chip, Mr. Chips, Chipper, Chipper-snapper, Mr. Snugglepants, Chiplove - you get the drift! anyway, to me, both Ryder & Ducati are gender-neutral names. so it wouldn't matter if you found out he had been miss-sexed... i would've named Cable a slightly more feminine name - but i thought she was a boy!

I'm in love with the names Ryder and Ducati - I guess we'll have to see how he acts when we bring him home!

Why not bring home 2 kittens then you don't have to decide

When we went to pick Nismo up as soon as I walked through the door she ran over to me and let me pick her up and I fell head over heels with her. However....there was another little girl who's markings were more like Rosie's and she also had my heart. I SERIOUSLY almost just took them both but I felt it would be unfair to bring 2 new cats into Sleeves's house. I actually think about that other kitten quite often and I hope she went to a loving home
