Charlie and the Cats

As well as our lovely two cats we also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and they cats and dog all get on really well (I think probably because we had the cats before the dog and for quite some time they were bigger than him!).

Does anyone else have a spaniel with their cats and do they get on well?

The only thing we find sometimes is the dog is very playful and the cats not always so so they do tell him but we have never had any fighting with them all.

We have a cocker spaniel mix, chocolate lab and a basset hound. They all get along with my crew of 9 cats. The dogs do tend to get over excited sometimes but normally the cats just get out of reach.

A few of the cats get along better than others with the dogs. As in they like to sleep together. Our newest addition Mia really loves the dogs.

I have an English Cocker Spaniel that I got maybe a month or so ago, she's an older girl and deaf, and basically ignores the kitties, except when they take a nibble of her food
