I am confused if this stray I have been caring for is a female or a neutured male I am starting to think its a male but I always thought it was a female. Anyone have a picture or some way to help?

A boy will have a round opening which is a bit raised, and a bit of space between it and the anus (also raised. they'll both be the same level). A female will have a line (usually flush with the body), which is close to the anus. Hope this helps some.

This probleme is quite common in kitties. I know cases when a breeder discowered week before delivery that the nice little tomcat was a nice little lassie...

In grown up cats it is more unusual, as neutering do leaves small pouches. The problem is usually the opposite. It may be sometimes unclear if the male cat is neutered or whole. For example, our Muskis has still a masculine appareance and the pouches not as small, bigger than by his son VAgis.

But I understand there exists a neutering technique where they do remove the whole testicles inclusive the pouches. And yes here it may be difficult to see at a glance if it is a castrated he-cat or a she-cat...

The lower part is its urinary tract. Thats the best I picture i could get the cat kept moving I dont think it liked what i was doing lol. The picture makes the 2 black spots look like they are together but they arent.
