This makes me ANGRY

On another forum I am on. Someone posted in the dogs section. about the death of seven puppies. She wanted us to feel bad for her (she is a adult) and her parents. And at first of course one is inclined to..until you find out how, and why the puppies died..

They were left in a Steel horse trailer in 105 degree heat. Not to be gruesome but well, they cooked to death these poor puppies.


They were purposely put in this trailer because "the house is under construction and we didnt have any other place to put them" and "we have another litter due soon"

Anyone who has seen a stock type trailer knows most of them have small slats at the very top. that do not over the greatest circulation. Let alone the fact that any vehicle acts like a dang oven in that kinda heat!

The kicker, she doesnt think Anything wrong was done. I am sorry but HOW can she NOT see that? They have no business owning animals IMO let alone breeding them. Puppies need CONSTANT supervision with the mom for the first two weeks....and being locked in a horse trailer?!

These poor poor babies. Needless to say she didnt get any sympathy...

Some people have no common sense whatsoever, and can't be trusted with children or animals. I'm glad she didn't receive any sympathy; it's a wonder she wasn't run off the site.

Oh, she was. It looks like a few people where doing the "oh it was just a mistake" i am sorry its COMMON SENSE i wouldnt leave newborns outside in that heat let alone i a tin can. but those who supported her were run off too.

When I was in third grade a stray puppy gave birth in our garage. One day I was playing with the puppies my dad dragged me home by my ear (back then all he ever cared about was gambling and my academics).

So the puppies died in the middle of the night in the cold.......I did not put the puppies back in their nest. I should have. I don't think I could ever forgive myself for doing that.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to judgment of the people who made that mistake.

There's a big difference between a third grader and an adult, and this woman should have known better. I wonder how the next litter will fare?

I agree. You had no choice you were dragged off.

what they did was a purposefull mistake. Because they didnt want to stay home an watch them and didnt want to allow them in their "new" house.

On the good side one person on that site did some research and reported them to AC

Had similar case here, this week. Someone left a pygmy goat, in a van on the top deck of a parking garage. Tucson temps have been around 103-105, this past week. Passersby heard the goat crying, thought it was a baby and called security. Tucson police broke the window, rescued the goat and took it to the Humane Society. It is now being held as evidence, for the animal cruelty charges, filed against the owner.

In Arizona, it is illegal to leave children or animals in a car and police have the authority to break windows, to get them out.

That is illegal in Indiana and I'd be willing to bet that it's illegal where she is too. That's just crazy. I'm glad she got little sympathy!

Shes been reported too so they will pay for it. It is illegal where they are.

Hearing this makes me wanna SCREEEEEAM!! That is totally ridiculous, IMO. That person doesnt deserve any animals, I hope she doesnt have kids Thats probly the next step-her "accidently" leaving them in her car!!

Poor puppies. But I agree, you were just a kid at the time. You did not have control of the situation (your Dad interrupted you), and you were young. I'm sure you felt just awful at the time though, poor Shengmei!

While I agree with not judging people in general, when they cruelly put puppies in danger in a horse trailer, they certainly do not deserve sympathy.

Haven't these people ever heard that most vets will board animals or there are reputable petsitters that will board the animals?? It must have been 130 or more degrees in that trailer!!! They were probably to cheap for that. This makes me sooooo mad!!!!

yup..most replies are resounding my sentiments. Those poor poor babies. and i think yes they were to cheap to board. these poor babies. but they are safe now that is how i have to look at it..
