At 10 weeks we lost one of our kittens. The vets are nto sure what caused it, but it seemed to be a viral/bacterial infection that caused neurological lesions. He stopped eating on friday, and despite my best efforts, the vet specialist told me this morning that he had little to no chance of recovery.
i feel pretty awful about the whole thing. I had to call the person who was to adopt him when i got home. luckily the other three are fine, and the vet thinks that gus had a prexisting immune problem that resulted in his inability to fight the infection.
please keep your fingers crossed for the rest of them. I do not want to have to do this again.

I'm truly sorry. I hope the others continue to thrive.
