Well I have homes for all of my kittens and the mother cat. They are all good homes. I would truly keep one or two if I had the room but I have 3 cats 3 dogs and 4 birds in my house.

My stray is the sweetest cat, much more now that she not pregnant (LOL), but it is hard to see everyone go, two got a home today and the other two will have a home within the week. Mother will be spayed and has a trial home but will come back to us if that does not work out.

We have grown attached to everyone though..

It is fantastic that they all found homes...and I'm glad mom is getting spayed. Hopefully all the new families will have the kittens spayed/neutered so that they don't end up having kittens of their own.

If you need a contract for them to complete so you can follow up with the new owners...you can find one in the PDF called "how to find homes for homeless pets" that you can find here:

Seeing the kittens go to their forever families is one of the hardest things about raising them. It breaks my heart each and every single time, but I try to remember that I handpicked each new family for each individual kitten and that the babies will be absolutely adored and spoiled smelly-rotten for the rest of their lives. It doesn't at all stop me from missing them horribly, but nearly all of my kittens have gone to people who do not mind keeping in touch with me about them - sending pictures and updates frequently. Knowing the joy the kittens bring to those people and hearing about their silly antics does seem to soften it a little.

So, my Daphne had four kittens. I'm keeping one kitten here with Daphne & me. The other three will go together to live with my parents. This situation is so completely ideal, because my parents are truly excellent cat owners, and I will be able to visit them as often as weekly if I choose.

But, making the decision of who stays and who goes, is SO DIFFICULT. I thought it would be a more clear choice, but of course I love them all, and I appreciate all their distinct, newly formed personalities.

Any ideas how I can decide who would be happiest alone with Momcat, and who maybe would work better in a more multicat situation?
