Hi, I'm Satai, I'm female, 26, and living in Limerick, Ireland. I'm a Master's degree student in International Studies (politics) at the University of Limrick.
I have a partner/bf and we have four cats - our own little Brady bunch: Molly, a calico, probably about 10 or 11; Bobby, a black and white and Molly's son, about 3; Slayer [aka Fernslayer] who is two and a tiny perfectly black kitty; Sláine [pro. slawn-ya], our yougest, a few weeks younger than Slayer, and a calico, like Molly. Molly was a stray (not ours, originally), Bobby was born to her last litter, Slayer was born feral, and Sláine was tossed from a car. All of them are now s/n and Bobby is our only boy.
They all have their nicknames, of course:
Molly - Mollyanna, Mols, Molya, Molly wobbles, Molly dolly, Lump
Bobby - Bobs, Bobzilla, Bobby doll, Bobby-baby
Fernslayer - Slayer, La femme Slayer
Sláine - Slan, little paws, Sláine Capone (she has this racketeering routine)
As a group they are my little faces, and Slayer and Sláine are 'the littles' or 'the kittens' - even though they are not kittens anymore. Also, from time to time they all get called darling, sweetpea, little one (ok, not Bobby - he's huge and I'm not that far out of my mind).
Anyway, that's us. I've lurked, on and off, for a long time and I've decided that I'm feeling brave enough to come out from under the bed, nose open the "cat room" door, and meet the other kitties. Save a cushion by the fire for me!
