Gigis ears are way better but the vet and accupucist agree to get her 100% she needs some of the scar tissue in her ears removed...

She had her pre op blood work( first senior panel) and only one liver enzyme was elevated ... I have homeopathic pills to give her to help with bleeding( I have been told shell bleed alot ... The night of surgery shell be home but crated so she doesnt mess with her head by shaking it ... then I have to take her back to the vet...

PLEASE send vibes for her and me ... I am feeling like a bad mom putting her thru surgery that isnt life saving

Sending lots of vibes to both of you. It may not be life saving, but I'm sure she will be much more comfortable once it has healed.

Don't feel like a bad Mom...
you are trying to do what is best for Gigi's well being.

I will keep her in my prayers for an excellent outcome & watch for your updates.

I had had eight surgeries myself by the time one of my cats need aneasthitic (sp). It had never bothered me, but I thought I wouldn't make it through the day when it was my cat. My vet admitted that she'd been exactly the same, despite having had a surgery herself and having been a kitty vet for years.

My point is that we will always worry, even if what we are doing is the right thing. Good luck and good vibes!

Gigi gave me a few scares over night and yeilded me over reactting and getting the vet out of bed ( not all bad since Gigi was in pain and got some morphine) ... I took her to the vet for the day and she came home quite happy ... Tomarrow is accuputure day and clean the ears out day ... I am just exausted but the vet is sure the surgery was a sucess ,,,,

I'm glad the vet thinks the surgery was a success. Is she doing better now? No more scares?
