i have cat and i dont think i can afford a check up so i searched around on the web and didnt really find anything and came here, so well my cat is around 4-5 years old now and he is pretty skinny but i think hes pretty healthy but then a few days or a week ago my family has noticed that the cats stomach area has become very large like his wieght is unbalanced it feels like bones or something hard and i dont know what it is, also he isnt very active anymore ,so if anyone can tell me whats wrong with him by the way it is a he male. couple or my friends thought he was pregnant but guys cant. k well the stomach area is like a large ball or something that pops out a bit on the sides too and is very hard . so for typing so much im not very good at explaining thanks

You are correct to be concerned about your cat's health. It is not possible for us to diagnose him from a description, however clearly it may be stated. Please tell your parents it is vitally important that he go to the Vet to be thoroughly examined and treated for whatever health situations he may be having.

I agree - your cat needs to be seen by a vet asap so that you can find out what this is.

He should be seen by a vet ASAP.
The fluid buildup in the abdomin is very worriesome.

I understand money being tight sometimes and the funds just don't seem available for a vet visit, but for your kitty, you need to have it checked as soon as possible. Possibly your vet will let you make payments? Or maybe even offer to work in the kennel or something to pay for services?
