Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself...

My name is Jana, and I am currently a graduate student at NCSU studying companion animal nutrition. I ride and show horses (jumpers) competitively and do agility with my papillon pup on the side. I just recently acquired a 2 month old kitten now named Tigger (was abandoned on the side of the road) which is why I'm here!

Hi, and welcome...u sound like me...only I dont ride horses anymore and my dogs have all passed away after long *14 years* lives. I just got my first cat in december and have learned so much from this site. The people are very knowledgeable AND super friendly...hope you enjoy it here as much as I have...J

I did have one question....how in the world do you get an avatar? I don't see anywhere on "my page" to do so?
