I just noticed a lump on my 14 year old cat Athena. She hasn't been in the best health of late and isn't scheduled to go into the Vet till next week.(New Vet) She doesn't seem in pain, and is eating fine. It seems hard, like a swollen gland and doesn't seem to cause her pain. Any ideas?

That could be so many thing and at her age I would not wanna guess. Call your Vet in the AM - Personally I would want her seen ASAP if not sooner.

Our cat had a lump on her neck for a while. At first they thought it was a swollen lymph node and then they thought it was a salivary gland. They put her on antibiotics and it kept getting bigger and smaller for about a month until it was gone.

She seems okay, I just worry about her. My GF is out of town and I have to work, so it makes it hard to get her in. She has been having problems in her hips for several months, she was hit by a car when she was two and has seven pins in the hip and pelvus. She's my buddy, even the GF has taken a backseat to her.

Thanks
