Zissou can hit the peephole in our door, a little over 5 feet, from sitting under it. She's still growing though, interested to see how it goes as she gets older.

Niece had a cat that made it to the top of a 6ft hutch in order to get to the feather duster.

Seven times the length of their tail, huh? *goes to annoy the cat to measure her tail* Zissou should be able to jump seven feet it the air... her tail is actually a foot long from the base of her tail on her back to the tip, eleven inches if we're only counting bone, if so then about 6 and a half. She can't do that.

As for running and jumping, it'll be farther but lower. They have those spring-loaded hips like most four-legged aminals that requires a really weird stance, if you watch a cat about to jump they sort of sit back on their haunches. They could never do that and run at the same time.

Well can a cat hurt themselfs by trying to jump too high or too much, cause i would like to put a treat a few inches higher each day to see how high she can jump. Although i dont want to try that if she will hurt herself trying to get the treat
