Great news at the vet

I just came from the vet with Peter (just a check up) and wanted to share some great news. Our vet couldn't detect his heart murmur! This is a very good sign that his meds have slowed (or even stopped) the progression of the HCM. We won't know for sure until Peter goes back for his ultrasound recheck in Sept., but for now it's enough knowing that my sweet boy is doing so well!

That is excellent news Eileen!!!!!! Way to go Peter!!!!



I would think his heart would have been going pitter-patter since all of the TCS lady cats wanting his autograph now that he is famous.

Of course it's been going pitter-patter, but all the lovely TCS ladies might not be so impressed with Peter if they knew he was STILL hiding under the couch. I also had to pull it halfway out into the living room and turn over a recliner to get him into his carrier. Once we got to the vet, we couldn't get him out, so I had to take off the top of the carrier for him to be examined. My poor little guy!

Sadie behaves the same way when it is time to go to the vet Eileen.

Peter is doing so well with his HCM.
Just amazing.
It just shows what early detection and great care can achieve with this disease.

Be sure to remind us when it is time for his scan so we can send our vibes & prays for the best possible result.
