I thought Kinsey grew out of the bed peeing thing. I washed all the bedding and treated the mattress. She didnt do it for like a week then 2 nights ago I was in bed dosing off when I feel something wet on my legs. She only does this when I'm in the bed (but i dont think she gets up on the bed when I'm not in it.) I am taking her to the vet in about 2 weeks for her 2nd check up and first vaccinations so I will ask her what she thinks. In the meantime, any more suggestions? I'm tired of getting peed on.

Also what vaccinations do ya'll get for your cats? The vet confused me with all the options. I mean I assume I will just get all four. Is that how many ya'll get? She said there were four (rabis, something that rhymes with "december", something else, and heart worms) That sound right to you guys?

I personally got all vaccinations, as well as being tested for feline leukemia. Then again, we didn't know his background much.

Not sure what to do about the peeing problem though. Hopefully your Vet can give you advice.

I don't have his papers on me right now, but I do remember it being quite a bit. Let's see...from memory, there was Panleukopenia (Distemper), rabies, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, Calicivirus...that might have been it. It's certainly all I can remember from memory.

Well, I want Kinsey to get all those. I wonder why the vet only told me about 4?

For vaccinations, a lot of times there is a vac pack where you got all in one. She should be vaccinated for FIP, Panleuk (distemper), Calicivirus, Rhino, and rabies. If she is going to be indoors only, I wouldn't worry about too much after that. Those are the big ones. She should be dewormed also with Strongid or Drontal plus flea treated if necessary.

For the peeing, it could be a UTI. But talk to your vet. I forgot how old she is but you should be setting up a spay appointment too. It can be done at 8-12 weeks.

well I will be doing that closer to 5 or 6 months. I cant afford everything all at once and it isnt necesary until then. I will do it as soon as possible.
