The weather is completely miserable here in the Land of Manc

It's so dull, cold and windy

You really wouldn't think it was supposed to be summer!

Yet another day in front of the screen, but at least I'll be nice and warm!

Got to get that tidying done - been putting it off for days!

The I will torture my kitties by taking them for a walk in the cold!

Good morning Sarah and everyone!

We had rain here overnight and now the sun is shining. It's supposed to be a very sticky 29C here today.

I had a chat with Jeff yesterday and it seems that he's caught a tummy flu

I hate being away from him ....especially when he's sick!!
He's supposed to come home on Friday but if he isn't feeling any better he won't be able to do the 5 hour car drive....oh speak of the devil

he just called and he is feeling a bit better!

On a happier note..I went for my first dress fitting yesterday!

That was the first time I got to see my dress....I love it!. I tried it on with my shoes and the jewlery I plan on wearing and they all go together beautifully.

Oh that must've been fun Tracy!
I've got a quiet workday, so I think I'll just have to make myself do some things I've been putting off for way too long - make an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out, and get a smear test. Yuck and double yuck!

Brandi glad you sorted things out, such a relief for you.
I got my Fake Bake tan last night and it looks great but it STINKS! I can't put my finger on the smell but I just hope nobody else can smell it. Should be better after another shower.
Got to get packed tonight then off to Marks parents for the night, then busy busy day tomorrow with Marks graduation ceremony. I can't wait!!

I don't think you want this heat!! Yesterday temperatures reached 99* and the heat index put us WELL over 100*

Lauren, it really sucks having such dreadful weather at this time of year, doesn't it?!

I have no idea what 99F is in C, but it sounds much, much better than the wintery weather we are enduring!

If I have the calculations right then its about 37 or 38 degrees C.

Morning Gang!

Today is very gloomy in the city. It is supposed to rain for the whole weekend... thunder showers too. I am praying no rain on Saturday, my sisters & I have plans to take all the kiddo's to the zoo... it doesn't have to be sunny, just no pouring rain...

Hubby & I both could not sleep last night...

Anybody want a phone??? I'm gonna sell my phone on Ebay today I swear!

It hasn't stopped ringing since I got in... don't people know how to use the voice response unit??? Is it that hard to press in the extension you want?

Her royal majesty LuckyGirl did her best to not let me get to work this morning... tripping me, blocking the door way, then finally rolling on her back (which I looooove) with her little paws curled up as if begging me to call in sick... she's so cute! Have a great day everyone!

I was up early this am getting the locks changed on our rental property. Yes he's finally gone!

Deadbeat! Unfortunately he left a bunch of nasties for us to clean up, but hey at least he's gone, so I can deal with the cleaning of the stinkys! If I have to, I'll hire someone to clean it if it gets to be to much for us!
It's rainy and yucky here but for some odd reason, I'm in a fantastic mood!!!

Hmmmm. why is that? I wonder?

Another sunny day in the mountains, kids are situated, Cocoa Krispies for the little girl (who is asking me how it made chocolate milk as I type) and a Go Tart for my son who is picky as all get out.

I still need to shower and get all the rest of the way woken up and then I'm off to figure out what to do with the rest of my day.

I would have posted earlier but not time!!
Did some weeding and watering this am. I think I can start selling basil to one of my clients.
One of my SIL's came over-did the garden tour then off for retail therapy.
We stopped at a really cool consignment shoppe that opened a couple of miles from my house-house decorating stuff and I bought a couple cool things. Then on to a greenhouse where lots of plants were bought-mainly for SIL & a client. Then off to the local cheese shop and lunch. Then another greenhouse and garden visit!!! More plants purchased. No more room in car so we can back to my house!!! Now on TCS and more weeding later this afternoon!!
