When I first heard how much the Dyson cost I thought "no way" but after my second vacuum broke I decided to go for it. It was well worth it, I've never been happier. Don't know where all the stuff that comes out of the carpet went before!

I have tile throughout the house so I have no need for a vacuum. I do sweep and mop ALOT though. I did get a Dirt Devil Power Sweeper for Mother's Day along with the Swiffer Wet Jet and I LOVE them both!

We bought two new vacuums last December. One tis a shop vac & the other a bagless one. The bagless one didn't work well in the house, so dad took it out to the shop. The shop vac is a wet/dry vac, so we brought it in the house. They both actually cost the same. I love the shop vac b/c it's got a super long hose & 6 different attachments. It makes vacuumng the pet hair off the linoleum a breeze! I just vacuumed this morning, actually. The dust bunnies were starting to form colonies....

I keep looking at the Dyson ones but I can't imagine what would make it worth on average an additional 400-500 dollars. It would have to clean , scoop the litter, take out the garbage and redecorate for that price.

My mom vacuumed the rugs with the old vacuum and then used the Dyson and you would be amazed at how much more crap it picks up! I mean the cannister was full of dog hair (she had 3 dogs at the time)! It is justa powerful vac and for those of us with pets its worth the moeny to have a clean house!

I have a dyson animal and I love vacuuming now
Incidentally, for anyone in UK thinking of buying one they are way cheaper on Amazon than in the shops (over £100 cheaper
).

He bought it for me with love.......so what do I do! I have to find a way for it to "break" lol when I get enough money to buy that dyson!
