Jerry and I were out the other day, and he got paged to respond to a fire call. Well, on come his lights and sirens and we're off to the races. I HATE going with him because he gets to go left of center while driving, go through lights, etc, and I can't stand it. I close my eyes and tell him to tell me when we're there!!

What makes you nervous......??

The thought that one day my ex husband will track me down and now add onto that, that my anti-parents will start to stalk me since I've left NC.

Seeing you and Jerry racing to a fire with you in the passenger seat with your eyes closed tight while holding on for dear life while you're barrelling towards me!
Sorry.... Just joking

in a pile of open toed shoes!
oooooh, that would scare me too...

sometimes when Tom drives I get nervous, he'll trying to wipe off the dash board with windex wipes while we're driving.... I hate that...

or anything with water... I can't swim, and am terrified of drowning... oh, on vacation, this couple from NY had 2 girls, 1 tall enough for the 3 ft side, and 1 that was almost 2 yrs old. I swear to you the baby almost fell in the pool 3 times... 3 times! And they were about 10 ft away talking to each other.... the baby would walk on the edge of the pool, bending over to put her hands in... I was so sick over it I could barely breathe... thankfully my gasp and scream warned the dad to come and get her. Then I go right back to people don't deserve their kids!

The street I live on has ten lanes of traffic and has been nicknamed "Boulevard of Death" because of the number of people who have been killed crossing it (something like 75 people over a period of 8 years). There's actually a sign on the corner of my block that says "A pedestrian was killed crossing here...".

So, I would have to say, crossing my street makes me nervous, especially since I lost my peripheral vision on the right side.

Heights. I don't care how far off the ground we are I don't like it!! When we were building the house I wouldn't go to the edge before they put all the siding and stuff up on the 2nd floor!

ME too. heights are the worst. I physically get sick on balconies, like if someone is sitting on the edge or a building has lots of windows. It feels like I'm going to fall.

My brother in law is a retired FDNY lieutenant, and at one point he used to drive the fire engine--DH assures me that I don't ever ever ever want to get in a car that my BIL is driving, and I take his word for it.

I'm deathly afraid of heights. I can only get up 2 or 3 steps on a ladder before I start to get scared. And if they show heights in movies I even go weak in the knees...lol, it's that bad.
