I live in the No. Va area near DC.
Can anyone direct me to a good picture site to
look at pictures of an Occicat of any other variety?

I understand that the spotted type is the type
shown and valued, but that the AOV types occur in regular
tabby markings and were once used for breeding purposes,
although the breeders are now getting away from this.

However, AOVs are still produced in some litters? And
are not as valuable nor shown? Is this true?

Also, what is the difference between cinammon and
chocolate? Is it like red and brown?

Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Did find this...
Scroll down for photos of ticked, solids, classic tabby, and ivory.

The cinnimon color would have more of a reddish color compared to the more brown/chocolate color of the chocolates.

I knew some ocicat breeders from showing and never heard of the AOV's but I'm sure they occur.

Are you interested in buying an AOV for a pet?

Thanks all. I didn't see any of the regular tabby stripe pattern, just the bull's eye and / or marble type. I have feeling the one I'm looking at may be part Occi or bengal but isn't pure..certainly looks like a Cinnamon one, but with reg. tabby markings (stripes) not the "spots". BYB I suspect. GRR OTH, could be just a moggie too. But if so is *tres cute* moggie!
