You get to repeat one day of your life so far. What day would that be and why?

Probably the day me and hubby met...that was one of the best days of my life....aside from the birth of my children....but see...at least this way I'm not laid up in bed and all that.

I thought of that also, but that was probably the worst day of my life when my mother passed away

Yeah it would be hard, but what I wouldn't give to see my Grandma again, she passed when I was 12, a little over 16 years ago, and I still miss her so much, she was my best friend
Sometimes i really wish I could talk to her, get her advice... I always wonder if I would be a different person if she hadn't died, if she would've been such an influence on me, I'm sure I wouldn't have made some of the mistakes I did

I think I would do my wedding day also... it went so fast... and hubby leaned over to me at one point during our reception and whispered "this is the best day of my life, I love you" it was like magic.... and when we danced to Etta James' At Last.....it was like we were floating on a cloud...

If only it was like that every single day...

I'd have to say my wedding day too Heather..........my fireman husband even got to put out a fire at our reception. Our centerpiece had a candle in it, and the candle had burnt down and no one was watching it. Next thing you know, someone yells FIRE and all these firefighters jumped into action!
Jerry picked it up and tossed it over the balcony........(thank goodness no one was down there!

That's so funny Susie!!!
I always think of that movie Ladder 49, with Joaquin Phoenix.... at the wedding they all get up and sing that song "FIRE!"... I love that part! We had 2 fire trucks go by my office this morning.... I am right around the corner from the fire house!

I haven't had a day I would truely like to relive yet. I think that will come in the future, like the day I graduate from university or a romantic trip me and Dh are going to take in the future.

Picking a day to relive....thats a good question. Theres several days I would love to relive.
But Im gonna go with spending one day with my dad, simply because I would love to see him again.

The day John surprised me and drove 2 hours to see me at my parents house for the weekend. It was the 1st time he was going to meet them, and he showed up with a dozen roses
He only stayed for about 2 hours and then drove back home, cuz he had to work the next day.

My grandparents and parents were there - they loved him ever since (especially my mom and grandma!
). I think that was the sweetest thing, and we weren't even dating yet! Thats when I knew he was worth it all

There have been a lot of very good days, but if I had to pick one...it would be one of a few very special days that I spent with Mom.

One time, for some reason Dad really made her mad and we spent the day shopping!
We had a blast, spent money (she got her first electronic keyboard that day), ate out, and laughed so much!

Another time, we decided to have a girl's weekend and booked a motel room/cottage in Estes Park that was right off the river in the fall. It was just a fabulous 2 days/1 night. We had so much fun together.

The other one would be from the one time that Dad and I convinced Mom to come out to the National Matches with us. She *made* us take a day and go exploring in the area. We had been going for about 10 years and had never done that. We found some wonderful places with her leading the way, and a particular piece of artwork that meant so much to both of my parents, though I didn't fully appreciate it until just in the past 2 years.

It would be hard to say goodbye, but at least I would be able to properly - not in a hospital room and not knowing if she really understood what I meant in what I said to her...
