Well I won't worry then. Maybe she's just resting. I'm such a nervous mother hen :/

Oh believe me I am going mad being at work. I know I need to let her do her thing, I am just scared...is she feeding the kitten? Laying on it? Ignoring it? Is the kitten healthy? Will she have the others soon??? Probably she is glad I have to come to work so she can have some privacy and walk around a bit without me going why are you not with your kitten????

she's fine. Sometimes cats go for 24 hours before having the rest of the kittens. If she goes more then that I'd call a vet though. Once she has the kittens she probably won't be so dependant on you as she'll be busy with her litter.

Thanks
You make me feel better. I hope she has the two more. The sonogram was quite a while ago and the vet told me sometimes they reabsorb the kittens, or give birth and eat them. I'm sort of freaked out about that. I hope that's not what's going on

Also, is it ok for her to keep wanting her *ahem* girlfriend cat with her? She wants her to sit outside the box...I found out that's why she was meowing so much :/ They don't bother each other and she seems to enjoy her 'guarding' the nest? I don't understand this because she hates anything male right now, including my bf for some reason.

Momma should be fine with the kittens if she hasn't eaten the first one she should'nt eat the rest. Genrally they only do that if the kitten is born dead or there's something wrong with the kitten. The other cat should be fine with her but i'd supervise her in there for awhile to be sure she dosen't lay on the kittens or steal any of them away from momma and hide them.

She hasn't been interested in the kittens. Only the mama. She has been cleaning the mama, rubbing her, sitting outside her nest running my bf off, but not really going IN the nest. Dudley went under the bed with her about an hour ago for a few mins and they layed there getting some a/c, then dudley went back to her kitten.

I seem to have an alternative lifestyle cat family happening.

That sounds so cute. I used to have a spayed male cat who used to kidnap kittens from barn cats and bring them to his "nest" that he made. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw because he would try so hard to take care of them. He'd usually settle when he'd gather about 4 of them together. Then he'd panic when they would not stop screaming and start screaming himself. That's how I ended up bottlefeeding so many little kittens. Aside from bottle feeding he took care of them in every other way.

Awwww cute...Dinah hasn't stolen the kitten so far, but Dudley has also not had another kitten :/ She gave birth to the black kitten last night at about 5:30 pm, it is almost 2pm now. My bf cant check because Dudley has decided to hate him.

Haha that's what I thought too. She hisses when she even HEARS the boy cats meowing or my bf walk through the door...she only lets myself, Dinah (her gf cat) and my female dog Snack come near her. Weird huh!!!!

I hope she has others soon...
