This just saddens me......and furiates me as well.

MUST find homes for. Several cats need good home. Expecting first child

and can no longer keep them. Need loving homes asap. 1 of them jut had

4 kittens so they all must go together. Different colors. 1 black & white

1yr old (with kittens), 1 gray striped female 1 yr old, 1 orange striped 1 yr

old. and 1 white and black kitten around 4 months old. Please help spread

the word would rather find loving homes than have to use a shelter.
Call or email....blah blah blah........

Poor kittys......

The shelter may be a safer alternative than what this person is doing IMO.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
at least they would all get spayed/neutered at a shelter.....

But I don't understand... having baby need to get rid of cats??? What are the cats gonna do eat the baby? I don't get it, is that the old wives tale about cats stealing babies breaths?

Sometimes people have the dumbest reasons for wanting to get rid of their pets..

The best way to spread the word is to post this in SOS, so I moved it.

Why don't you send this ignorant woman an email or leave her a message and tell her what you think, whichever you feel more comfortable doing. I do tell them firmly now that they are dumping their cats/dogs - they need to be told off. They're cruel - unless it is truly something like illness, bad financial problems , etc whichever people understand, but many of these people just come up with some flimsy reason.

Maybe email her some of the links for the TCS site and some good advice - the honey rather than vinegar approach.

She or her husband is probably worried about the cat poo risk toxicplasmosis (sp?). It freaks alot of people out and apparently some doctors still give very bad advice.
