Update on the kitten

His/her eyes are just now opening up. This afternoon, the kitten began to open up his/her right eye just a bit, and just for short periods of time.



She is very healthy, and is crying less and less all the time. She even seems to enjoy sleeping in my hands when I sit near the box where she was born. Her mom trusts my girlfriend and I, and shows no worries when we hold the kitten in our hands (she tends to quickly fall asleep comfortably).

Not yet. I wouldn't want to name the kitten before we know if it's male or female. Also it's only a week old this evening, so it still really hasn't developed any sort of personality yet. So I haven't really thought about giving it a name yet. It is very sweet though. I am surprised how comfortable the kitten is, falling asleep when I let it climb onto one of my hands.

She seems to trust you, she knows she is safe with you. The kitten is SOOO cute!

Not sure who Anne Geddes is. I did a google search and just came up with a bunch of photos of babies.

awwww he or she is beautiful looks like one of my babies i have a pics of my kittens under kali's babies take a look your kitten looks just like mine lol

This one does have similar colors. It's amazing how the kitten is basically a miniature replica of its mother.

You almost can't see the kitten in this photo unless you look closely, they blend together so well:

i'll take a pic of my mommy cat tomorrow she looks just like that to it is funny lol!
