My cat went to vet for annual vaccinations including rabies vaccine. She had shots in both hips. She was in lots of pain for 2 days following her shots. She still has a big knot on her hip that is very tender to her touch. It has been 2 weeks. I have never heard of this happening before. Will she recover soon?:

Darlene, please call your vet and take your cat in to be seen. There is a problem sometime with vacccinations and this needs to be actually seen by a vet and not diagnosed unseen over the internet. Hopefully it is nothing, but please play it safe and make an appt.
You need to see a vet ASAP. It coul be several thing that must be treated by a vet ASAP because they will not get well on there own. Some forms of the rabies vaccine can have major side effects. -kd

I agree go to the vet ASAP. Might be an infection but I think your vet needs to look at it soon.
