I had to think for awhile, but....

after 5 days at the vet, my Ophelia is home!!!!

I have made a concious decision to treat myself like my best friend and make lifestyle changes to get healthy. Both my parents have type 2 diabetes and I am way over weight and at risk. I am young enough to make the right changes now to prevent this from happening and I am going to starting today!

I have a sweet lilac point siamese/persian on my left shoulder and a tortie baby on my left leg sleeping....and we just got back from having a delightful meal at a fine and fantastic Mexican Restaurant.

I just got back from a WONDERFUL time!
My mother in law invited me & the kid over for a good time. Beer for me

, Pools and cheeto's for the kids.

HAD AN AWESOME TIME! My daughter had a blast. I think that may have been the most fun she's ever actually had. I've never really seen her laugh that hard, and play that much! It Was EXCELLENT!

I loooove good news. I'm so going to keep like a good news thing going, even for myself in this thread because I love it so much. Because so many cool things happen to me all the time, and I LOOOVE good news, so this is great.

My new kitten Roxie is doing great after a morning at the vet for a viral infection..

AND, I have NO money right now, but decied to by my honey a pizza from pizza hut last night. I was going to forgo dinner myself in order to treat him. (He deserves it) ANYWAY, I ordered him a large Peperoni Pan.

I get there, she hands me TWO medium pizzas and says, "We were out of Large Pan dough, so we gave you two mediums" YAY!! I get to eat AND he had leftovers for lunch today!

Lee and I are playing nice again and as I cried last night he was trying to comfort me and tells me "We love each other and its okay to fight. As long as we love each other it will be okay!!" Such a sweetie! (Most of the time!!

I actually read, on a website that someone posted here a while back, that fighting is healthy. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, of course. They said that couples who go out of their way to avoid disagreements aren't helping their relationship at all. So Lee is absolutely correct

My fiancÃ[emoji]169[/emoji] and I have gotten to the point where we can disagree about something and then all of a sudden change the subject like nothing happened

My good news for today is that I slept in for an extra hour and a half. It made all the difference! I am also 100% ready for my midterm that I am taking at 1:00 this afternoon. I know my stuff

Reading everyone's good news has been such a nice change of pace! Keep up the good work

He's so right Brandi, my ex and I NEVER fought and all that led to was a lot of bottled up feelings, everytime I wanted to discuss anything, he would roll over and play dead (figuratively of course

I went and got a new vacuum last night, I'm so thrilled!

John picked up a second job last night at our local mexican restaraunt as a cook - so thats an extra $400 every 2 weeks, which we are planning on sticking in our savings to buy our own home OR marriage (keep your fingers crossed everyone!!

) Things are finally looking up for us financially!!

Can't go into detail, because this is too public, but a situation that was looking increasingly untenable turned a corner yesterday, and now looks much more manageable. Gave me the first smile in days.
